Stinky Breath | Halitosis | Water plus Lemon - Food Combination Warning |

It's fashionable to add a slice of lemon to a glass of water but adding an acid to your water may cause you to have bad breath at work.

To avoid having bad breath make sure you put the right combination of nutrients into your water.  If you are adding lemon, add a slice of ginger to the water to neutralise the lemon slice and some mint to freshen your breath.  If you don't like ginger, avoid adding the lemon to your water and look for an alternative. Some options are:

  • Chamomile tea
  • Licorice
  • Green tea
  • Parsley 
  • Mint 
  • Basil 


Don't worry about being around other people - Your breath does not have to stink during a detox.
